CITY, STATE – The (NAME OF FACILITY) will offer women and girls 14 years of age and older free clinics, (LIST EVENTS THE COURSE WILL HOST) and other golf-related special events Saturday, June 2 through Saturday, June 9 during the 2007 American Express™ Women’s Golf Week presented by Golf For Women magazine – a unique event designed to introduce women to the game of golf in a fun, non-intimidating environment.

WHO: American Express™ Women’s Golf Week presented by Golf For Women magazine is the culmination of a joint effort between The PGA of America, LPGA, the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), and the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) aimed at increasing the participation of women in golf. National sponsors of the 2007 American Express™ Women’s Golf Week presented by Golf For Women magazine include American Express™, Golf For Women magazine and Cobra Golf.

WHAT: American Express™ Women’s Golf Week presented by Golf For Women magazine is scheduled June 2-9 at more than 1,000 participating golf facilities across the country. Now in its third year, the event reaches out to women and girls 14 years of age and older with complimentary golf instruction in addition to a series of golf and social events throughout the week, customized by each host facility. Each year, thousands of women visit local courses nationwide to participate in events. The 2007 American Express™ Women’s Golf Week presented by Golf For Women magazine is expected to reach 50,000 women.
