MINI SAGAS

Mini Sagas are stories told in exactly 50 words. Not 49 or 51 but exactly 50.

1. “Never again” It was a wonderful day and I went for a walk. Suddenly, I saw a blind man trying to cross the street. I went quickly to help him, and when we crossed, he started to run. Then, I hardly realized two things: he wasn’t blind and he’d stolen my purse.

2. It was her first date with that attractive man. The moment was absolutely perfect : there were roses and candles … She fell in love with him . Suddenly , she felt something on her shoulder . It was her boyfriend’s hand . He had come to tell his father they’d get married the next spring

3. My dream had always been to do a cartwheel without hands. One day, I tried to do it. The previous night, my mother said to me: “Don´t try this! You could break a bone! I still remember her voice…Unfortunately for me, when I did it, she was right! Never again.

4. The No-Wedding-Date. She found her boyfriend with her best friend together before their wedding.She waited for the date,went into the church and said that she´s wasn´t going to marry him but she and her friends were going to celebrate “the no-wedding day”. In fact, her boyfriend had paid the bill

5. The beach was specially beautiful, I could feel the waves, the wind and the sun. I was on my holidays in California, sunbathing on my fashion towel when suddenly someone appeared and asked to marry me. I was the luckiest girl in the world, nowadays I´m married to Brad Pitt.

6. Anna gave money to a poor man. He was very grateful so he gave her a magic medal and said if she asked for more than three wishes, she’d be unlucky. Unfortunately, she didn’t hear him, asked for four and turned into a spider and never again was a woman.

7. “The lie of the money” A person enters an indebit hotel, gives 500 euros and begins to see rooms. While, an employee takes the money and pays the supplier, who then pays the prostitute, who pays the hotel room she had used before. The person dislikes the hotel and gets his money back. What happened?

8. It was the perfect love. She was looking after me all summer. I was with her all the time. We were an inseparable couple. It was incredible. “I’ll always be with you”, she told me. Fortunately, it was true. I was only six years old, and she was my mother.
