(www.recyke.com) and Florida Paddling Trails Association ( www.floridapaddling trails.com) Where: Registration and races start at Jonathan Dickinson Park – Swim Area – 16450 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound When: Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Races start at 10:00 a.m. How: Register at www.loxriverrace.com, mail in bottom portion of flyer, or call 561-718-3890. Events: Short Course - One mile recreational paddle Medium Course – Six mile loop Long Course – Twelve mile loop Vessels: Open to all canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Cost: $8.00 to cover insurance and donations to the Florida Paddling Trails Association (FPTA) and to the Loxahatchee River Center (www.loxahatcheeriver.org). Checks should be made to: Loxahatchee River Race. All individuals are required to pay $2.00 each for park entrance. Lunch: A complimentary lunch will be provided – bring your own beverages (no alcohol in the park).
