Replication study questionnaire

February 2017 Project Information REMEB (Recycled Membrane Bioreactor) is a Research and Development project funded by the European Commission. The main objectives of the REMEB project are the implementation and validation of a low cost recycled ceramic membrane bioreactor (MBR) for water reuse in a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). REMEB project proposes a new type of MBR which will tackle the main problem of the MBR industry which is the increased running costs. The project will develop a ceramic, ecological and competitive MBR for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), from ceramic raw materials and by- products and agro-industrial wastes. REMEB MBR will be validated in the WWTP of Aledo (Region of Murcia) with the aim of reusing the wastewater for irrigation in an area with water shortages. REMEB project is integrated by a total of 11 partners from seven different countries: FACSA as project coordinator from Spain, the Spanish Institute for Ceramic Technology ITC-UJI, the French engineering company IMECA Process, the consultant company from Cyprus ATLANTIS Consulting, the Norwegian company BIOWATER, the Valencia Region Council of Chambers of Commerce in Spain, Castellón laboratory for research and environmental projects IPROMA, Spain, the Italian ceramic centre Centro Ceramico, the ceramic research centre SAM in Turkey, Antonio Ariño University in Colombia and the Wastewater Management Entity of Murcia region (Spain), ESAMUR. The questionnaire is addressed to WWTP managers, MBR suppliers, research centres or any businesses related to waste water treatment. You can contribute to the improvement of the MBR industry by sparing some of your valuable time to fill it out.
