Asst. Engineer License Minimum 4000 HP/3000 Kw

Trinity Management Group, Inc. is seeking a relief Assistant Engineer for service aboard EOT SPAR. Interested Parties must be willing to join the I. O. Masters, Mates, and Pilots as this is a union contracted vessel. Upon satisfactory completion of rotation, a Permanent position may be offered as this is a select- list contract. Permanent Rotations are approximately 90 days on/off.

EOT SPAR is a 300’ long container and general cargo vessel, built in 1990, and is powered by two medium-speed Caterpillar Diesel engines, be aware that the vessel’s total shaft horsepower is 3219HP.

The Engine Dept is comprised of a C/E and 2 A/E's. as such, Engineers shall be required to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair to any shipboard mechanical, non-mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or propulsion system(s) that is assigned to him by either the Captain or Chief Engineer and/or any other task that falls within a generally acceptable scope of duties for a competent Licensed Engineering Officer. The Engineers shall also be required to perform duties normally assigned to unlicensed engine room personnel, such as bilge cleaning or other such routine engine room duties, provided such other engine room duties are part of an all engine room hands evolution.

Other Information: Dispatch Period: 90 day dispatch with an anticipated start date being mid-to-late December (vessel schedule dictating). Full Union Wages and Benefits package current Daily Wage is $467.11 (up to 12 hrs), Medical, IRA, Training, and with Transportation provided by the company all in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
