Perry Touchdown Club Meeting Minutes

6:34pm Meeting called to order

Discussion Topics:

-Financial Review- Account balances, expenditures and future expenses were discussed, reviewed and approved.

-Rockin Refuel: Rockin’ Refuel essay due Friday 1/23/15-Sylivia Parker worked on this, wrote and also submitted essay

-Photo Passes: Discussion took place on a more efficient, less complicated way to assign photo passes for game photographers. Nothing was decided, but the topic will be revisited at a later date.

-Team Meals: A master list is being composed of restaurants that are willing to sponsor Perry team meals. A lot of restaurants are willing to supply meals, but many cannot have the team eat at the restaurant any longer due to team size. Central Christian Church has been hosting the team meals and team coordinators/other parent volunteers have been delivering the food to the church and then also serving the food. A possibility exists to have a partnership between the Culinary Arts Dept. at Perry to cook meals for some of the team meals, but location, cost etc. still has to be reviewed to see is this is feasible.

-Teacher Appreciation Week: The Touchdown Club will provide a meal for Perry’s Teacher Appreciation week for all Perry Staff in May. Date and type of meal TBD. -Cow Chip Bingo: It was discussed to keep online ticket sales as an option for upcoming Cow Chip Bingo in May, possibly using EventBrite again. It was also discussed to wrap up ticket sales a couple days earlier in the week. Location will again be The Welcome Home Ranch.

-Coach’s Update: There will be some type of coaching clinic taking place for Perry’s coaching staff in February, most likely located at Perry. However, cost, location, exact dates TBD. Coach Jones said he is ordering new uniform pants (first new batch since original pants ordered) and some new jerseys.

-Next Board Meeting: it was discussed that at the next board meeting the TD Club hopes to find other parent volunteers to commit to positions for the season, such as photographers, announcers, team coordinators (Meals, Gatorade, Puma Wear) prior to the next TD Club meeting. Board members will meet to discuss how these volunteer positions and their duties will be laid out.
