ALL PHYSICAL PAPERWORK MUST BE FULLY COMPLETE AND HANDED INTO ATHLETIC OFFICE PRIOR TO TAKING THE CONCUSSION TEST. a. NON FALL SPORT ATHLETES – FULL PHYSICAL & Concussion Test b. FALL SPORT ATHLETES – RE – CERTIFICATION & Concussion Test IF not taken in the fall. c. Paperwork can be downloaded from CRN Website or picked up in the athletic office. Hand in all forms to athletic office. 2. Concussion Test Dates - 3pm on Wednesday, October 28 th OR Wednesday, November 4 th in the Eastside Cafeteria. TEAM EXPECTATIONS 1. Practicing/playing up to six days a week and through holiday breaks 2. Making CRN Basketball the priority above all other teams and extra - curricular activities during the season. 3. Sometimes practicing before school. 4. Starring in a role that may include limited playing time. 5. Holding yourself to and being held to a higher standard in school and in the community because you want to be a part of a GREAT high school basketball program!
TRYOUT EXPECTATIONS 1. TRYOUT DATES – 11/16-20. Times are TBA. Depending on numbers of tryout participants, some cuts may be made after Wednesday’s practice. 2. Freshmen and sophomores try - out for the JV Team (with some exceptions). All juniors and seniors try - out for the varsity team. 3. Dressed, shoes tied, ready to play before the assigned practice time. 4. Wear a reversible jersey with dark and light colors. 5. Play hard – give the best you have at that moment all the time / be coachable – listen to directions and do as the coaches’ say. 6. The coaching staff will choose the players that we feel will help our program be as successful as we can be. Besides talent, work ethic, and attitude, we also think about: class (freshman, soph, etc.), position, role on the team, potential in the program.
