EL SOBRANTE CHRISTIAN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST 2011-12 General Supplies

 One multi-subject, three-ring binder with dividers o No distracting or inappropriate pictures or writing are allowed on binders o Needs Pencil Pouch that fits in (or is built into) the binder for pens, etc.  Binder Paper 8 ½ x 11, three-hole, loose leaf, white in binder at all times  Three-hole graph paper (4 squares per inch grid)  NO SPIRAL-BOUND notebook folders are allowed, EVER  Several blue or black pens (not turquoise, purple, green, gel-style, etc.)  Several #2 pencils (mechanical-style OK)  Two or more red marking pens or pencils  One or more soft erasers  One or more highlighters  One assignment book (E.S.C.S. style may be purchased at Walk-Through sale)  NO WHITE OUT IN ANY FORM ALLOWED AT SCHOOL  NO SHARPIES OR PERMANENT MARKERS ALLOWED AT SCHOOL  Backpack, small, durable, soft-bottom book bag must fit INSIDE the locker  2 large boxes of tissue for classroom use – turn in to homeroom teacher Text Books Texts will be assigned by the classroom teachers. It is the responsibility of the student to keep these in good repair. Books are to be covered at all times. Brown paper bags make the best covers!

P.E. Supplies

Blue P.E. shorts – Nylon style required [older cotton style not acceptable] (available at Walk-Through Reg) Blue P.E. T-shirt (available at Walk-Through Registration) Athletic socks Athletic shoes with laces and non-markable soles (not flimsy tennis shoes, no platform gym shoes. Cross trainers or basketball shoes are best) Optional - warm-up sweat suit/sweatshirt for cold weather – must be blue

Other Supplies  One New International Version Bible in good condition o (NIV Bible only – Not an NIV “Readers Version”)

Home Supplies  Calculator with square root and memory functions labeled with student’s name o The TI 36 is recommended for all math classes  Students will have several projects and assignments that require that they do work at home. Please be sure you have pens, pencils, rulers, scissors, markers, glue, construction paper, poster board, printer ink, etc.
