Spelling Week Fourteen Focus of Suffixes: -able and –ible General Rules: If you remove –able from a word, you are left with a complete word (approachable and approach). If you remove –ible from a word, you are not left with a complete word (sensible and sens). However, there are exceptions: flexible and flex; suggestible and suggest; accessible and access.
