POST: Student Services Assistant (Student Recruitment)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Student Recruitment Manager
PURPOSE OF POST: To work as part of a team to provide a pre-entry service to prospective students of Edinburgh College
MAJOR TASKS/JOB ACTIVITIES
To provide a pre-entry information and support service to prospective students by phone, email and in person at all college campuses To liaise with the wider Student Services Team and other teams across college to provide accurate, up-to-date information and advice to enquirers To offer visits to and tours of college campuses to individuals and groups considering coming to college To assist callers to make their college application as appropriate To attend internal and external events to promote the college and college courses To liaise with external organisations to provide information and advice on college courses and on the application process To gather and collate statistical and other information as appropriate To provide emergency cover at the Main College Reception at any campus as required
