TRINITY TIDBITS October 30, 2015
Next week Pastor Randall will lead chapel. Kindergarten and Ms.Charles’s PK3 class will sing. Grades 7/8 will recite scripture. Hymn of the month for the school is “Let all Things Now Living”. ECC hymn of the month is “My God is So Great”. Chapel offerings will go to Lutheran Ministry to the Armed Forces. Parents are invited and encouraged to join us for chapel throughout the year, but we ask that you sit in the last four rows, and of course, your child may sit with you. You may also sit with your child in their class row, but we ask that you sit near the outside of the row, so as not to block the view of the children sitting behind you. Chapel begins at 8:15. If you have any prayer requests, please let your child’s teacher know and they will inform our worship leader and we will include those requests in our prayers
We Care –Students will be collecting items for the annual Operation Christmas Child. These are boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and personal hygiene items for needy children around the world. Our goal is for each class to make one, so teachers will be sending home a list of what they would like. A list will also be printed in the TIDBITS for families who would like to fill a box at home. Last year we collected 70 boxes and we would love to collect more this year! Finally, in the past years, we have had students whom parents, or other relatives, were deployed overseas. If someone in your family is serving, overseas. We want them to know that they are in our prayers so we are planning to make a “Christmas Care” box for these individuals. Please let us know the names and addresses of their individuals along with a list of their favorite items (snacks, magazines, etc.). We will collect items on the list to and we will mail them out. Thanks!
