COMMITTEE MEETING FEEDBACK

A seminar was arranged on 22nd March 2015 to create the awareness among the staff members specifically the department heads of the NMTI to increase the efficiency level of the committees and the departments. A questioner was provided at the end to the participants for feed back as to how much the seminar was useful and productive. There feed back is summarized as follows:

1) The first question was mostly answered by staff to share the agenda and training materials before the day to due.

2) The second question was mostly answered by staff to provide the strategic planning and also the hospital starting plan.

3) The third question was mostly answered by members to provide the responsibilities, functions and authorities of the committee.

4) The fourth questions was mostly answered by members generally regarding the hospital starting , the staff interactive trainings, meetings of the departments, and feed back procedure that it should be kept confidentially

The general summary of the seminar feedback is that the members did not report their visions or their interest in their field. One matter was discussed very importantly when they found that this feedback will be reported in their performance which is related to them. Instead of this to provide some creative ideas, some working plans, strategic decisions and the deficiencies in NMTI departments the members has started discussion on ACR. The writings of the members show that they have reported this feedback unwillingly. Some of the members did not submit their feedbacks. The most qualitative report is submitted by Dr Shaza Neelum after two days gap.

After this seminar it is proposed to have a meeting with each department head and his staff regarding their problems. The deficiencies will be circulated to the concern responsible heads for immediate solution. Each committee should be given task to select one head among the team with mutual understanding and should provide a task to the committee to design the function, responsibilities and limitation of the committee.

Dr Hamida The agenda should be communicated before any training, seminar or meeting A.P Hematology session. Next meeting should be arranged on Strategic planning of NMC Get all the members closed with this meeting, felt satisfied that I am listened.

Dr Ikram Ullah The meeting should be more interactive. The teaching staff of College should be A.P CMD provided with opportunity to share their knowledge with other colleges and also visit of other reputable institution.

Dr Mehrun Nisa Agenda should be circulated before. Make strategic plan. Committees should Professor make possible to work hospital smoothly. Training provided the information about the comities function and responsibilities. Please tell us about the authorities of Committees?

Dr Committee meeting should be yearly or half yearly. Responsibility ownership Microbiology and accountability of the chairman and members

Dr Hanzullah Attendees’ should be increased. Strategic planning of the NMTI, committees A.P should be empowered,

Dr S Qureshi Presentation should be concise. SWOT analysis of the Departments. Committee A.P should be informed about their function. Presentation skills should be increased.

Dr Sami Ullah The agenda should be communicated before any training. Committee should A.P Cardiology know their purpose. Meeting of each department with chairman on daily basis to speed up the program

Dr Faouzia The feedback should be anonymous to get the best suggestions.

Dr Mubashir Rehman The information provided today was general and need to provide the A.P Eye committee job description. Define more committees. There are any criteria for committee selection or the employee willingness and dedication is also considered? This feedback should not be disclosed as the members will not provide the clear wording. This feedback should not be part of the ACR

Dr Fawad Discuss the problems of the employees. When to start the hospital? A.P ENT Provide the duties and function to different committees

Dr Ramzan should discuss how to start the hospital and what are the shortcomings. Todays A.P Neuro discussion we acquired knowledge about the functions of committee. Should continue such kind of seminars

Inform all members well before meeting or any other trainings session. Presentation should be short, concise and summarize at the end. Session should be more interactive.
