DaTARIUS Technologies success at Recording Media EXPO in New Dehli

The renamed Recording Media Expo once again proved the need for an optical media industry trade show in this region, with a steady stream of visitors to the March show in New Delhi, India, and once again quality people at DaTARIUS continued their whole- hearted support of the show. DaTARIUS provided a strong presence, both on the floor and in the seminar rooms. The show served as the debut and first demonstrations of the next generation of Sprue Recycler for all optical disc formats, and attracted attention from the numerous interested visitors to the DaTARIUS booth. A team of experts was on hand at the DaTARIUS booth to demonstrate the range of DaTARIUS systems; personnel included Joan Lu, General Manager, DaTARIUS Technologies Asia, and Thomas Hackl, Chief Commercial Officer, DaTARIUS Group “The Indian market is showing a huge growth in CD-R,” says Lu, “and although DVD volumes are still low, they are expected to start increasing rapidly, with boom times from next year. DVD-9 is expected to be the preferred format, given that Indian movies tend to be quite long.” In keeping with these local market trends, DaTARIUS highlighted its CD-R Analyzer 8X, which is used for both blank and recorded CD-R analysis according to Orange Book specification. Thomas Hackl was one of the featured speakers at Recording Media Expo, and his presentation on ‘High Quality Manufacturing vs. Money Saving’ was very well received by show attendees.
