Presented by Robert B. Kohen, M.D.
Robert B. Kohen, M.D., received his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he also completed his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York.
Dr. Kohen is the Assistant Team Physician for the Detroit Red Wings, and has served as the Assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants and New York Liberty. Dr. Kohen also served as the NFL Combine Assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants and Assistant Event Physician for the United States Open Tennis Tournament.

Robert B. Kohen, M.D., is the Assistant Team Physician for the Detroit Red Wings. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology as well as his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also completed his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. He completed his Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York.
While in New York, Dr. Kohen served as the Assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants and New York Liberty. Dr. Kohen also served as the NFL Combine Assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants and Assistant Event Physician for the United States Open Tennis Tournament.
Dr. Kohen has also served as the Resident Physician for the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University football. Dr. Kohen also provided team coverage for University of Michigan hockey, gymnastics, softball, baseball, and lacrosse programs.
