We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Innovation Department based at the Global Head Quarters in South Yorkshire. With direct mentoring from the Group Managing Director (Chris Rea, OBE), the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity for personal development and to growth within the business.
This role presents the opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress into a management position within an organisation that supports its employees to continually grow and develop.
The job role covers a wide variety of tasks including; concept development, design generation, product testing, costing and research. You will be responsible for efficiently managing the projects that you have initiated or been assigned, from concept to release. It is important that you have a positive attitude and a desire to work and learn. This role is part of a fast paced and rapidly expanding working environment, and you will be expected to grow within the business to meeting changing requirements.
Overall the role encourages the candidate to develop the necessary skills needed to progress into management, by being responsible for the entire product development cycle.

The candidate should have: At least a 2.1 class Bachelors Degree or MSc (or equivalent) in an Engineering related discipline. Alternatively, relevant professional experience in a similar environment 1 year of relevant work experience is essential Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and thrive in challenging situations Must have the ability to build relationships across departments/sites Must demonstrate good communication skills and have the ability to work as part of a team IT literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications Demonstrable commercial awareness is essential Full Driving Licence and access to personal vehicle Willingness to travel
