COFFEE CONTEST: Will your 2nd hour class be the GRAND PRIZE WINNER?? First semester is almost over! If you can hear this announcement, you are already doing your part to win The Coffee Contest! 2nd hour classes with the best attendance will be entered into a contest to win a breakfast celebration each quarter which will include pastries, juice and fresh-brewed Keurig coffee! The grand-prize winner at the end of each semester could win the privilege of having a Keurig machine in their classroom for ONE WEEK! So, look around you…encourage your classmates to be cool, come to school and win The Coffee Contest!! ATTENTION SPEECH TEAM! Our holiday get-together is this Monday, December 15, at 3pm. All members stop by for some holiday fun! Looking for a delicious way to start off your final exams? Stop by in the cafeteria each morning before final exams to buy Dunkin Donuts for $1 each. SENIOR PICTURE RETAKES!!!! Seniors, HR Imaging will be here on Thursday, January 8th from 8am-3pm in Room 109 for Senior Picture Retakes. This will be your last opportunity to be photographed in school for the yearbook. There will be a sign-up sheet outside Room 213 beginning December 15th. Please stop by and sign up for a time to have your picture taken. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Are you a leader? Do you want to become a leader? Our school is hosting a district wide leadership workshop on Saturday, January 10th. There will be three interactive and fun guest speakers. Please sign up on our school website under quick links. COMMUNICATION ARTS & TECHNOLOGY: Did you know that there's a course offered that's hands on, fun, and gives you three college credits. The name is the course is Communication Arts & Technology. Be in front of or behind the camera creating your own media. We have a state of the art computer lab and studio , HD cameras and professional grade audio equipment. So if you want to be a journalist, filmmaker, performer or want to go into advertising, marketing, public relations , business or need to improve your writing, reading, research or speaking skills Communication Arts & Technology is the course for you. Sign up with your teacher or counselor for Communication Arts and Technology today. ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS: Tinley Park High School offers an ACT Prep Course which will provide you with test taking techniques and practice to help you achieve your ACT goal. The cost of the course is $40 which includes an ACT prep book and 12 nights of classes. Classes are held from 6- 730pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You can sign up for the ACT Prep Course with your $40 payment in the main office any day until final exams. Classes begin the week after break. No new enrollment will be accepted after break. YEARBOOK: Looking to add to your holiday wish list? The 2014-2015 yearbook is on sale for $55.00 through December 19th.
