The following clarifications, amendments, additions, deletions, revisions and/or modifications form a part of the documents, and change original or previously issued documents only in the manner and to the extent stated. The contract bid price shall reflect all addendum changes and each bidder must sign, and submit with the Proposal, CER 3, and Acknowledgement of Addendum. On this Certificate, the Proposer is to list each Addendum including the date of the Addendum.
Items requested by vendors in the RFP’s approved equal and request for comment period that are not addressed by addendum are to be considered denied.
1. Change to Section 5, page 55, FR 19 Recycled Products Clause is added: “Recovered Materials - The contractor agrees to comply with all the requirements of Section 6002 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), as amended (42 U.S.C. 6962), including but not limited to the regulatory provisions of 40 CFR Part 247, and Executive Order 12873, as they apply to the procurement of the items designated in Subpart B of 40 CFR Part 247.” Please ensure you are using IFB 12-03 version marked Addendum 6 in your submission. 2. Item 7.6 page 111, 7.7 page 130, 7.8, page 150 (Body and Frame): Additional clarification. Requirement for FMVSS 220 (School bus Rollover) testing is deleted for all line items bid.
3. Items 8.6 c, pages113, 133 and 152 (Seating), Additional Clarification: The following applies to all line items in the solicitation. Proposers may bid equivalent seating that is not equipped with (USR) Underseat Retractable Seatbelts. However, purchasing agencies electing for this type of seating will have to specifically waive and indemnify CalACT- MBTA on this item. If the base bus being proposed is to be equipped with the Freedman Citiseats, they must include the USR feature accompanied by pull testing documentation. Alternative seating proposed that is not equipped with the USR does not require seat belt pull testing or other seat belt options.
