Julie Murzyn is a Partner with O’Neill, McFadden & Willett, a defense law firm with offices in Schererville, Indiana (Northwest Indiana) and Indianapolis, Indiana. Since 1997, she has counseled hundreds of business owners, insurance companies and transportation companies in handling high exposure casualty claims. Ms. Murzyn has nearly 20 years of trial experience in the practice areas of casualty, commercial, dram shop, transportation, premises, products and professional liability. She is a regular presenter at continuing legal education seminars, most recently participating as a presenter at an “Advanced Insurance Law” roundtable seminar sponsored by ICLEF in Southern Indiana.

Born and raised near Kankakee, Illinois, Ms. Murzyn received a double degree in political science and history from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois in 1993. She then earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana in 1997. She is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, Defense Research Institute, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, and the Lake County and Indiana State Bar Associations. Ms. Murzyn has received the highest ranking of an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory through its peer review process, based on the feedback and opinions of other lawyers and judges.
