1. the Furnace Project Should Include

Dear Sirs,

We hereby invite you to submit an offer in the tender named: Design, execution and implementation of Car Bottom Furnace (CBF) for SGL Graphite Solutions Polska Sp. z o. o. in Nowy Sacz

Scope:

Design, execution and implementation of Car Bottom Furnace (CBF) – standalone (outdoor construction), gas-powered. Workplace dimensions: 6m x 16m x 5m (width X length X height). Load capacity: 240 tons. Predicted range of temperatures: 900 – 1200 ºC. Cooling: water mist; reducing atmosphere of work. It is required to equip furnace with exhaust gas afterburner and dedusting and chimney installations.

1. The furnace project should include: a. Gas installation (escpecially in this: determining the possibility of connecting the designed furnace to an existing distribution station; preferred heating system - Kromm Schroeder, Eclipse; gas supply integrated with Siemens and InTouch SCADA system) b. Electrical and automation installation (escpecially in this: the possibility of connecting the designed furnace to the existing power grid, determination of energy demand, integration with the existing Siemens control system and the InTouch SCADA system) c. Fire-extinguishing/cooling system (especially in this: determining the possibility of connecting to an existing water system) d. Hydraulic installation (transport of platform trailer/car, drive of doors and explosion flaps)

2. Execution, implementation and start-up of furnace should include: a. Steel structure of the CBF design b. Execution, assembly and implementation of CBF c. Refractory lining project d. Assembly of refractory lining including heating system implementation e. Project, assembly and implementation of exhaust gas afterburner (preffered: pipe afterburner, powered with extra gas burner, including primary/secondary air installation integrated with CBF control system) f. Project, execution and implementation of measuring system of all process parameters, allowing registering of those parameters

Remarks:

- Works include full completion of CBF implementation, so also obtaining all necessary building permits and environmental conditions

- After execution there should be lead technological trials and final commissioning, allowing turning the device into production mode

- The price should include the full range of training for operators, enabling self-service of the furnace system (please specify any additional conditions that operators should meet - permissions, legal requirements, etc.)

- Delivery time: to be agreed - it will influence the evaluation of the offer

- Length of warranty: to be agreed - it will affect the evaluation of the offer

- Dates of the local vision: for individual agreeding with leading of task

- Deadline for submitting offers: 28.02.2018

1. The materials/data provided, if any, are covered by the confidentiality clause. Copying and distribution for purposes not related to the scope of work necessary to submit an offer without the consent of the Employer is prohibited. Violations will be raised in accordance with the provisions of the Polish Civil and Commercial Code. 2. The Ordering Party reserves the right to reject the offer without giving reasons for doing so.

3. The costs of preparing and submitting the offer shall be borne solely by the Bidder.

4. Placing an offer in the tender procedure is tantamount to acceptance of the provisions of the contract template, general technical specification and general principles of performing works by external companies at SGL Graphite Solutions Polska Sp. z o.o.

5. The Ordering Party reserves the right to modify or supplement the terms of the subject matter of the inquiry.

6. The Ordering Party reserves the right to freely choose offers, postpone the date of the tender, negotiate the price and the option to annul the proceedings at any stage without giving reasons.
