Your old wall calendars can find a new purpose and a new home with this facelift. What a great way to help family and friends show one more way to Reclaim Your Holidays with a repurposed gift bag? Tuck in a meaningful gift or even a card for a gift of experience and it’s an opportunity for all to think about our values, what’s meaningful at the holidays, and how to have fun without focusing on a lot of stuff.

Supplies Needed: Old 8 ½ x 11” calendar, Step 2: Choose two calendar pictures that are twine/ribbon, scissors, single-hole punch, glue similarly aligned that focus either right or left of stick. center so you don’t cut off the best part.

Step 3: Stack pictures on top of each other.

Step 4: Flip the pictures over and fold down the top about 1/2" to create the top of your gift bag. Step 5: Fold pictures along the left or right side Step 8: Fold the bottoms up about 1"-1 1/2" (depending on what part of the picture you like the least) about 1/3 of the calendar page. This fold creates the side of the bag.

Step 6: Fold the flap you just made in half Step 9: Separate the calendar pages.

S tep 7: Fold the other side of the pages about a Step 10: Place glue on the small flap of one 1/2". side. Step 13: Make 4 cuts at the bottom corners up to the folds you previously made.

Step 11: Tuck the small flap into the side of larger flap on the other page. Make sure to tuck the flap in all the way to make the side of the bag.

Step 14: Glue all the folds down to create the bottom.

Step 12: Repeat with the other side. Ta-da! The sides are now complete!

Step 15: Flip the bag over and press down to secure the bottom.

] Step 16: Cut two equal pieces of twine or ribbon.

Step 17: Hole punch two holes & thread your handles. Tie a knot at the base of each handle on the inside of the bag.

Step 18: Enjoy!
