Are you up to the challenge? Soon, you’ll have the opportunity to answer that question. We’re asking you to participate in this year’s Auxiliary HEART Program starting [DATE HERE].

During the HEART Program, participating members save the cost of one, two, or three Scriptures ($1.30 each) per day for 100 days and pray each day for the people who will receive those Scriptures.

“I was working in my uncle’s pastry shop when one day, my aunt left her Gideon Testament in the shop. I was bored, so I took it up and started to read a passage by chance. It proved to be so interesting that I did not want to give the Testament back. She then gave me another Gideon Testament for my own. I started reading every day and gave my life to Christ. As my behavior changed, my family noticed and my parents and two sisters started to read the New Testament and go to church with me. They too have now accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”

One Life a Day [OR ALTERNATIVELY INSERT YOUR CONVENTION’S THEME] is certainly an appropriate theme for this program. It’s no exaggeration to say that you could have an eternal impact in the lives of 100 individuals (or even 100 families) simply by saving in a focused way for this limited time.

Families in the more than 170 outreach countries that we serve are counting on us—on you—to provide the Scriptures they can’t buy for themselves. It’s our prayer that every Auxiliary member in [STATE] will contribute the cost of one Scripture per day (or more), enabling us to exceed our state convention Auxiliary Faith Fund goal of $[XXXXX].

Are you up to the challenge? We’ll find out at this year’s convention. Once again, the Auxiliary Presidents Breakfast will include a camp roll call where each camp president will bring her camp’s HEART Program offering. Give your offering to your camp Auxiliary president by [SATURDAY BEFORE CONVENTION]. She will ensure that it gets to the convention—properly credited to your camp. If you cannot deliver it to your camp president, send it to me at [STATE AUXILIARY SCRIPTURE FUNDS COORDINATOR NAME AND ADDRESS]. Please note your camp name, or camp number, on your check.
