If you are emailing the surgery regarding a problem you need to click on a problem from the extensive list and then answer questions – for example if you click on back ache it will ask you questions about your symptoms relating to your back. If you click on headache it will ask you questions relating to headaches. When running efficiently this software can reduce phonecalls by 10/15% – although it does generate a higher level of consultations, but these are more time efficient appointments as we have the background information. It was asked if we could have larger font & also a change of font colour as coloured font on white background is a problem for some people. We receive the most econsults between 22.00 – 12.00 at night and they are mostly female Issues raised by PPG: email address - we don’t respond to emails If someone was trying to find information out about a person and filled out the questionnaire out pretending to be someone else – we could not prevent this but we only disclose information to the patient. CQC – Care Quality Commission – our visit is 20th October 2016 1 or 2 members patient perspective Posters will be put up with regard to the CQC visit as patients may be asked what they think of our service. Slaithwaites CQC inspection is 3rd November 2016 The CQC would like PPG members to attend early on ??
