Competitive Limited (novice) teams are not eligible to enter the Hilton International Limited (novice) Teams

Length: 50 meter pool split into 2 -25meter pools Pool Specs Competition Deep end pool: Shallow end Warm up pool: From single bulkhead, which is only one (1) metre wide. It may not Entry: be appropriate for team deckwork, and for safety reasons, it is recommended that only single file Team deck work and duets and solos use the bulkhead to start. Teams are asked to please be prepared to start in the water. We will advise if the equipment required to anchor the two bulkheads together arrives in time and is installed before the competition.

Deck Privileges Only Registered Coaches and Athletes will be allowed in change rooms and on deck

Gelling a) There will be NO GELLING for any events on Thursday, April 6, 2017. b) On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there will be NO Electrical appliances used for Gelling, including crockpots or kettles, allowed in the change rooms, hallways, or stands. There are city programs still taking place in the building and electrical appliances will not be allowed. Swimmers are asked to arrive to the pool already gelled. For those needing to gel at the pool, there a gelling station set up across the hall from the change rooms with a large urn of hot water where gel can be made. Late Entry Fee 5.1.3 (pg. 17 SSO Rulebook) Entry forms including payment not submitted by the stated competition entry deadline will be assessed a financial penalty of $250.00 will be invoiced by Synchro Swim Ontario the day following the entry deadline. Failure to pay the fine by the first event of the competition shall result in disqualification. Fines are non-refundable.

Volunteers The Hilton Worldwide Invitational will be managed by Synchro Swim Ontario and the Volunteer Management Committee but will require volunteers from each club to assist in running the meet. Volunteer shifts required from each club will be calculated by the entries received and a schedule will be sent out once registration closes

Give some thought to the names associated with your clubs, teams, and coaches, and if you can give us some clues to the chronically mis-pronounced, we’re more than happy to have them. Suggested hints: “sounds like, “rhymes with,” “French pronunciation.” “stress the second syllable.” For example, the name “McKone” could be “Mick as in Jagger, Cone as in Ice Cream,” or “Muck Own.”
