After winning the Corton-Hyde Early Music Competition, K'antu Ensemble emerged in 2012. Their eclectic abilities and multi-instrumental tendencies led them to explore less-trodden territories of early music. The music of Spain and South America seemed like the obvious starting place for combining colourful and energetic elements of folk and world music with historically informed techniques - hence the name K'antu, referring to an ancient style of Peruvian and Bolivian music and dance.

Their critically acclaimed debut CD Gusto, was awarded 4 stars by Early Music Today, and has been featured on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction, BBC Introducing and Resonance FM's LSO Soundhub.

Their summer tour has visited St Endellion, Penzance, Dartington, Warwick, Moseley and Buxton Festival where they won the award for Best Small Classical Ensemble. In the autumn, they opened Symphony Hall's Beyond Classical Series and played at the Cadogan Hall's Culford Room. They will be returning to London this spring following the success of their K'antu by Candlelight Christmas Series to perform at Kings Place.

Organ Recitals are held each fourth Wednesday of the month at 1.10pm by kind permission of the church wardens and clergy of this church. We thank you for your attendance. There will be a retiring collection at the end of this recital to assist with the music making in this church, and the upkeep of the organ, which will soon require more extensive repair, to ensure that it continues to work soundly in the years to come.
