What Causes People to Be Vulnerable to Radicalisation Or Influenced by Extremism;

Aims

Our aim is that staff working in any sector who may come into contact with vulnerable people have an understanding of:-  what causes people to be vulnerable to radicalisation or influenced by extremism;  some skills to help recognise those potentially vulnerable to radicalisation;  information on what to do if concerned about individuals. It should be emphasised that the work to build safer and stronger communities as part of the national Prevent agenda, is about protecting people from all forms of extremism, including right wing groups, animal rights extremists, anti-nuclear groups, and those inspired by Da’esh.
