Academic Biology Syllabus Ms. Daubert C113

We follow all of your Handbook rules in the classroom. Please remember the Motto: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. I will not use my cell phone during science class without permission or it will be taken from me. Your grade will be derived from quizzes and tests, writing prompts, lab activities, projects and homework assignments. We will use several textbooks, study guides and supplemental materials. In addition to the textbook, you will receive many handouts and MUST maintain a notebook. If you are absent one day, you have one day to makeup the work missed, as per your school rules. Homework assigned before your absence is due upon your return. It is your responsibility to make up assignments. Extra help is available during flex and after school with advance notice. Parental contact number is 610-377-6180. Email: [email protected] I am available during most Enrichment periods for extra assistance.

Expectations during Enrichment- You may work on science assignments OR other schoolwork. You may read appropriate magazines or books. At NO time are you allowed to just ‘hang out” or socialize because this disturbs others. Sit in your assigned classroom seat- attendance is taken. Frequently a few laptops may be available in the room. If you have a need for a computer, please sign up for an enrichment pass at the library before Block 3 so you are guaranteed a computer. Enrichment passes from other teachers must be obtained before Enrichment begins.

We have read and understand the Syllabus and expectations.
