Makeup

Living during the Revolutionary War would have been terrible because they used bugs and poison for makeup. As a rule, most people do not want to put insects and poison on their face. If you wore makeup during the Revolutionary War, it was made out of white lead and a deadly poison. It had flour that had been mixed with grease. They put cochineal bugs on their cheeks and they put rouge on their lips. I would not put on the makeup during the Revolutionary

War because it was venom, flour, and bugs. It’s bad to put poison on your face and grease stinks.

I would never put germs and toxin on my face because you can die of poison and if you put creepy-crawlies on your face, it’s gross.
