A. Obtain a glass slide, cover slip, iodine and a thin piece of onion skin.
B. Place the onion skin on the glass slide.

D. Place the cover slide perpendicular to the glass slide, and slowly cover the onion skin.
E. Examine the slide under the microscope, using all three objective lenses.
