Do I have to sign up to a mobile phone contract?

No, RV WIFI comes with pre-paid internet, so you only pay for the time/data you use, and have nothing to pay when you are at home – between adventures

Does it work everywhere?

RV WIFI works with the Telstra Mobile network, and whilst coverage is not everywhere, the antenna and RV WIFI specially developed router software means that coverage will extend to most places most people will take their caravan or motorhome.

The RV WIFI router Software has been developed with the Australian travelling holiday in mind, there is no other product like it, and it has the following features built in. Increases power output as signal becomes weaker to remain in contact. Searches towers for quickest speed, not closest signal when towers are over crowded.

How is RV WIFI different to hot spotting my phone, or a “pocket device”?

The RV Wi-Fi solution has been created with the specific needs of Australian Caravan and motorhome community. The differences are as follows:

How does RV Wi-Fi compare to Satellite Wi-Fi

Cost – Satellite data can cost as much as $2 per minute, this is beyond the pale for most people who want mobile Wi-Fi the use social media to keep in touch with friends and family, or to stay in touch with the office. RV WIFI is 30-50 for a month for most people depending on usage.

Does RV Wifi work with streaming video services such as youtube or NetFlix?

Yes, it has been tested with two concurrent movies for two different iPads whilst moving on the road and did not skip a beat. –Note each movie can use between 500MB – 1GB of data.
