Double Pump, Inc. (Pump-N-Run) Signs the Arizona Gym Rats/Arizona Magic

Promoting Arizona’s Top Youth Basketball Talent Nationally Arizona’s Most Successful Youth Basketball Programs is now even stronger!

PHOENIX – The Arizona Gym Rats have had a busy summer and fall thus far in 2009. In September the Arizona Gym Rats agreed to terms on a 5-year partnership with Anthony Ray’s Arizona Magic organization (www.arizonapreps.com). The Magic’s reputation of showcasing Arizona’s top talent to the national college coaching arena cemented the partnership. With Anthony Ray’s history of getting players to the next level as well as his scouting service, which has of over 3000 collegiate coaches nationally who subscribe to it, the decision to partners was a no brainier.

Now, the Gym Rats have signed an additional 5-year agreement with the number #1 youth basketball marketing firm (Double Pump, Inc. www.doublepump.com) out of Los Angeles California. Double Pump has been in business for over 20-years and are recognized across the nation as the top youth promoters of the very best talent the nation has to offer as they feature these players at their invitation only showcase camps and tournaments. Dana and David Pump, who run Double Pump, Inc hold the Adidas national contract to provide promising youth athletes with Adidas gear throughout the nation in hope of signing them as they enter into the professional ranks.

“We are fortunate to be able to hand pick AAU organizations all across the country and in my 20 plus years of being in this business, I have never seen a more organized or quality club than the Arizona Gym Rats,” says Double Pump president David Pump. “I’ve seen Jeff (de Laveaga) at many events over the years, and his teams have always impressed me with their ability to play the game the right way and within his system. That is what college coaches look for and that is why we wanted to sign Jeff to our brand.”

The Double Pump brand is known as “Pump-N-Run” nationally with over 15 hand picked clubs representing 15 different states across the nation.

The Arizona Gym Rats are considered the state of Arizona’s most successful youth basketball club, winner of 9 national champions, 24 AAU state championships, over 280 national tournament championships and over 3100 competitive basketball games in just 5-short years.

Jeff de Laveaga, a former professional player, is known for developing some of the best players in the state through his Gym Rats program. “Our tryouts this spring will attract some additional players due to the sponsorships from the Arizona Magic and Double Pump/Adidas. Our Gym Rats teams have always been ranked in the top-20 nationally, and now with these two great partnerships, I am looking forward to continuing developing additional Arizona’s top talent for years to come.”
