RDA WILTON ‘200 CLUB’

The RDA Wilton ‘200 Club’ is a monthly Lottery, open to a limited number of members (200) and has been set up to benefit the charity. 50% of all income is paid out in prizes - up to £6000 each year depending on the number of members, with the charity benefitting from an equal sum of money. With full membership the monthly prizes will be: First prize £250; Second prize £150; Third prize £100 (Please note, with fewer members the prizes will be less, but there is a better chance of winning!)

For the modest contribution of £5 each month you will be allocated a Draw Number and entered into a monthly draw. You will not only be supporting the valuable work of RDA Wilton, but also giving yourself the chance to win considerable sums of money. If you would like to join, please complete the two attached application forms authorising payment by Standing Order each month (or payment can be made annually by cheque in the sum of £60).

The conditions of the Lottery are as follows:  The ‘200 Club’ will be operated under The Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976, Section 4, Private Lotteries. The promoter will be Cate Saunsbury of RDA Wilton.  RDA Wilton reserves the right to amend the rules of the ‘200 Club’ from time to time, as may be necessary. Notice to members of any and all changes will be by email.  All profits made by the ‘200 Club’ will be used within the Centre to support the work of RDA Wilton, providing a unique kind of therapy for children and adults with disabilities.  The lottery will be limited to 200 Draw Numbers.  All members MUST be over 16 years of age.  The subscription will be £5 per month, payable by Standing Order on 1 st of the month. On receipt of a Standing Order form, the applicant will be allocated a Draw Number. For each additional £5 paid per month an additional Draw Number will be allocated.  A draw will take place in the 2nd or 3rd week of each month for cash prizes. The results of each draw will be displayed at the Centre and members will be notified, by email.  Up to £6000 will be paid out in the form of cash prizes each year. Each month the 1st prize will be 25% of subscriptions, 2nd prize 15% and 3rd prize 10%, whether there are 200 or fewer Draw Numbers.  The draws will be conducted by three people from RDA Wilton, one of whom will be the promoter.  No ‘200 Club’ participant will be included in the draw if their subscription has not been received by 5 th working day of the month in which the draw is taking place. The promoter reserves the right to reallocate any number where payment has not been received on time.  Prizes will be paid by cheque and sent through the post only to the person holding the winning number, or by bank transfer.  Participants can cancel their entry in the Lottery at any time by giving one month’s written notice to the Promoter (and if paying by Standing Order they must also advise their bank). Under no circumstances can any payments be refunded. Any decision by RDA Wilton to wind up the Club will also be by one month’s notice, by email and displayed at the Centre.
