Overview Following promotion runs and a ground-breaking deal to acquire the 25,000-seater Darlington Arena, ambitious club Darlington Mowden Park have opening for a Reception Administrator. The exciting post will be a key part of the clubs growing off field team with excellent development opportunities. Revival of the Northern Echo Arena, which is now the second largest English rugby venue aside from Twickenham Stadium, in conjunction with the Club’ s broad strategic plans that have already seen coup involvements such as New Zealand All blacks and Rugby World Cup, represent opportunity for the correct candidate to gain unprecedented exposure and to become part of a pioneering sports and event organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Receptionist & Administrator

 To manage, develop and drive a first class reception including meet & greet, call handling, services and standards.  To provide administration support to the various departments (matchday, events, conferencing, tenants, community scheme).  To be a link to the commercial team ensuring that information, services, products and standards are consistently understood, administered and promoted by reception.  To support the Operation Managers in fulfilment of relevant reception H&S procedures.  To manage minor cash and payment systems where required in accordance with company procedures.  To specifically support the volunteer membership secretary and marketing executive to fulfil a best in class membership product including administration of memberships, dealing with enquires, fulfilling membership packs and benefits, promoting membership and its benefits.  To support management of the Clubs merchandise function and Club Shop (a relatively small function with limited opening hours) including stock control, stock ordering, working with volunteers, fulfilment of orders.  To support in other reception and office administrative tasks as required.

Beneficial Experience & Skills  Knowledge of customer service principles and practices  Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
