IQT Joining Instructions for Students

The Bronze level IQT e-learning is hosted on Learning@NHSWales. The following steps are required for a new participant to enrol on the course.

1. Using your internet browser go to http://learning.wales.nhs.uk/

2. Register with the site by clicking on ‘Login here!’, then scrolling down and clicking on ‘Create new account’.

3. Please use only your university email address e.g. [email protected] (other email addresses are not accepted).

4. You may have immediate access to the site. However, there is a known issue where some accounts are not immediately activated. If you can’t immediately login, you should be able to access the site after a couple of days. If not, email [email protected] to ask for them to enable your newly registered account. This issue is being worked on.

5. Once you have completed registration you will be prompted to add information to your profile. Please ensure you input your course and cohort including year of study into the Department field.

6. To start the course, please select “Courses” from the navigation bar, then “Occupational Knowledge and Skills”.

7. Scrolling down, you should see an option for the ‘Improving Quality Together – Bronze Level’ course. Click here.

8. At the bottom of the screen, using the relevant enrolment key for your university and school, join the course. Instructions on how to progress through the course are given on the course homepage.
