The bees flew to the flower./Bees like to eat nectar./The bee is buzzing. 2. Add an adjective or adverb to the following sentence to expand it. The wasp crawled onto the flower petal.

Adjectives: little, pink Adverbs: slowly, carefully

The little wasp crawled onto the flower petal./The wasp crawled onto the pink flower petal./The wasp crawled carefully/slowly onto the flower petal. 3. Rearrange the following sentence so it makes sense another way. The butterfly drank the nectar. The nectar was drunk by the butterfly.

(Example, for Teacher Reference) How Feedback and Revision Help Describe one piece of feedback you received from your partner. My partner told me that I should try to look closely at the photo to see where the pollen is on the flower. She said to add more detail to the flower in my drawing.

Describe what you did after you received this feedback. I got a magnifying glass and looked at the photo really closely. Then I added some pollen on my drawing.

How did this feedback help you to make your scientific drawings and captions better? Real flowers have pollen. Now my flower drawing does, too.
