This event is being held under NCA Rules and Regulations. Please share this show information with your friends! 2 SO WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT THE NCA? Hickories Park, Owego, NY NON-PROFESSIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL TIERS. Realizing for the non- SATURDAY & SUNDAY, June 11 & 12, 2005 professional exhibitor, showing is a hobby; while for the professional handler, it is a business. Both elements are essential for a complete and meaningful event. The NCA has leveled the playing field making the events more competitive and interesting. JUDGES RARE BREEDS. The NCA offers a RARE BREED GROUP. This will, for the first Mrs. Deborah Dayton…………….………...... 6338 Gerald Rd., Ashtabula, OH 44004 time, provide rare breeds an opportunity to gain championship and other titles through Mrs. Mona Shaw…...…....……………………...73 Golf Course Rd., Elmira, NY 14903 national all-breed events. Competition will be within the respective breeds with Best of Mrs. Robin Sheetz-Lytle……………………………..1580 Holtz Rd., Enola, PA 17025 Breed winners (Non-Professional and Professional) advancing to the RARE BREED GROUP. TWO (2) TIERS - SEPARATE COMPETITION FOR NON-PROFESSIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL HANDLERS PUREBRED COMPANION DOGS. (This is a dog show class only.) The NCA believes all dogs are created equal. The NCA has established two Separate classes in both tiers for dogs and bitches except for Best of Breed and higher. categories for the purebred companion dog class: Tiers are determined by the status of the handler. A PROFESSIONAL handler is an individual who has, in the past, or is currently accepting a fee for handling or acting as agent for any dog, including a) PUREBRED RESCUE DOGS – The NCA believes the individuals who own dogs owned, co-owned or bred by them. Being reimbursed partially, or in full, for expenses only encountered in handling a dog for a family member, friend, or associate does not constitute being a rescue dogs deserve special recognition and accommodations to meet their professional handler. ALL APPROVED JUDGES IN ANY KENNEL CLUB OR REGISTRY WHO desire to participate in competitive events. Accordingly, the NCA has established EXHIBIT DOGS MUST EXHIBIT IN THE PROFESSIONAL TIER. A NON-PROFESSIONAL is a special registry and competition for these purebred rescue dogs. Additionally, an Professional Classes (Pro) (includes rare breeds) owner may realize that their particular dog is not up to competing in the regular Puppies 6-12mo, Bred by Exhibitor, Open, Winners, Reserve Winners, Best of Breed show classes. These purebred dogs should be registered on the enclosed Purebred Ultimate Classes Single Dog Registration Application NCA Form #1 and when competing at NCA Ultimate Winners Dog - Competition between Non-Pro & Pro Winners Dog events should be entered in the Purebred Companion Dog class.
