How to Find Us
The University Center for the Development of Language and Literacy is located in the Victor Vaughan Building next to the Taubman Library in the University of Michigan Hospitals complex. It is on Catherine Street, a one way street that runs west, between Glen and Zina Pitcher. The four-story brick building is right across the street from the popular restaurant, Angelos.
From the North (US-23) or East (M-14) From the South (US-23) or East (I-94) From the West (I-94) MAPS
From the North (US-23) or East (M-14)
If using US-23, Exit onto M-14 west, just north of Ann Arbor. Go to downtown Ann Arbor Exit #3. This exit merges into Main Street (Business US-23) Go approximately .7 mile to Depot Street (one block before 1st light) and turn left. Go to T-intersection at first light. This is Fuller. Turn right. This street becomes Glen. Go to 2nd light. This is Ann Street which runs one way east. Turn left. Go one block to Zina Pitcher. Turn left. Go one block to Catherine and turn left. The UCLL is the last building on the right (before the light and a little side-street called West Medical Center Drive).
From the South (US-23) or East (I-94)
If using I-94, exit onto US-23 north at Exit #180 B. Take US-23 north to Geddes Road. Go left onto Geddes Road. (Geddes Road becomes Fuller Road ) Go to Ann Street (the 7th light - approximately 3.5 miles from US-23). Turn left onto Ann Street. Go one block to Zina Pitcher. Turn left. Go one block to Catherine and turn left. UCLL is the last building on the right (before the light and a little street called West Medical Center Drive).
From the West (I-94)
Take I-94 to the Ann Arbor Exit #172 onto Jackson Road (Business Loop I-94). At the second light this road becomes Huron Street. Continue 9 more lights to Washtenaw Place (one block past Glen Street). Turn left on Zina Pitcher. Continue on this street, it curves to the left and becomes Catherine. Continue on Catherine Street. UCLL is the last building on the right (before the light and a little side-street called West Medical Center Drive).
