3 The best way to survive the storms of life is to trust in Jesus and in each other; so reach out in the name of Jesus to receive help and to give help. We offer our condolences to Joan (Larry) Horner, Louis (Jane) Werner, Bob (Deb) Werner, Joyce (Dave) Batta, and their families in the loss of their mother, LaVerne Werner. The funeral service for LaVerne was held at Weigel Funeral Home on August 4th, with burial at St. John’s UCC Penntown followed by a light supper at the hall. Please keep all the family in your prayers.

Sheryl Newport had surgery on Thursday, August 7th. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
