Students Access Webct at UTSA

Access WebCT at UTSA - Students To access the WebCT at UTSA homepage, go to http://webct.utsa.edu. Click on the Log On to WebCT link, and the following prompt will appear:

NOTE: DO NOT check the Save this password in your password list box. Doing so would enable someone else using that computer to access your WebCT account.

Enter Your User Name and Password to Log On User Name Your User Name comprises the following:

a. the first letter of your first name, followed by b. your entire last name, followed by c. the last four digits of your Banner User ID

Here are some examples of user ‘s global IDs and their passwords. .If your name and Banner User ID are... Then your User Name is... Sally Smith, @00087211 ssmith7211 Maria Gonzales-Navarro, @00693300 mgonzales3300 Sam O'Hara, @00097470 sohara7470 Marco De La Rosa, @00863422 mdelarosa3422 NOTE: Your User Name must be entered in lowercase letters only. If your Banner User ID is... Then your password is... 000087211 @00087211 000693300 @00693300 000097470 @00097470 Exceptions: In the event if there are two users with identical WebCT IDs Your User Name comprises the following:

1. the first letter of your first name, followed by 2. the first letter of your middle initial (in case there is one) or the second letter of your first name, followed by (in case the middle initial is missing) 3. your entire last name, followed by 4. the last four digits of your Banner User ID

Log Off of WebCT Properly To properly log off of WebCT and ensure that no one else can access your account, you must completely shut down your Web browser. You must close every window of your Web browser you may have open.

Can't Access Your WebCT Course(s)? If you are enrolled in a course that is being offered on WebCT but cannot access it, please contact your instructor.

Forgot Your Password? If you have changed your password and can't remember it, send an email to [email protected] and request a new password. You must provide your full name (first, middle, and last). Do not send your Social Security Number. A new password will be emailed to you.
