Dear St. John’s Church family and friends,
Who doesn’t love a good competition? An opportunity to wrestle with ideas and see who can come up with a great one?
Now’s your chance to use your creativity and help us sort through all the great words you submitted to describe our church family!
Your Mutual Ministry Team has sorted into seven all those wonderful words you used to describe St. John’s in the Fall. Now we need you to help us come up with a renewed statement that will lead us in the mission God gives us every day.
Our invitation to you is that you use the following words:
Giving Tradition Home Nourishing Faith Anchor (and) All Are Welcome
to describe God’s purpose for us here.
Get a good night’s sleep….pray those words before you do….and see what mission statement God might give you to define what God calls us to do!
There will be a special prize for the lucky winner – designed especially for you! The winner will be chosen by the Mutual Ministry Team – but finalists will be announced on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016.
So jump in and compete with your brothers and sisters of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northumberland, Pennsylvania. Deadline for submission is NO LATER THAN March 15!
