Colleagues Please see attached list of areas where the Right2Water Campaign are staging local demonstrations this coming Saturday 1st of November. The Right2Water Campaign is a broad group of trade unions, political and interested parties who have one agreed aim which is that ‘Water is a human right; and that Water charges should be abolished’.
The CPSU is an affiliated and active member of that campaign and requests members to support the campaign in their area and join and support the demonstrations taking place. The need to keep up the pressure is vital at this stage and the appearance of large numbers of citizens on the streets in every location in the country both large and small will send a unified peaceful message that will secure the aims of the Right2Water campaign.
I trust you will enjoy a peaceful and fun day this coming Saturday.
