Workshop Contents:

Kalaripayattu is one of India’s most ancient and well known martial arts forms. Having originated in Kerala, it is today practised extensively across India. The practice of Kalari, as it is sometimes called, is known to sharpen the mind and body. The idea of the workshop is to expose children to the body movements and breathing patterns practised in Kalari and their practical application in our normal day to day life (we will not teach children how to fight!)

About Krishna Prathap:

Krishna Prathap is a well known practitioner and trainer of Kalaripayattu in Bangalore. He also choreographs fight sequences for theatre productions (Ranga Shankara’s Robinson and Crusoe, a play for 8 year olds and above, being one of them).
