Part-Time Kitchen Assistant – Band 1, Point 10

24 hours per week Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.. Term time only.

Starting late October

Langham Oaks School is set in a quiet village location north of Colchester. We are a residential special school for 11 – 16 year old boys with social and emotional difficulties.

We are looking to appoint a hard working Kitchen Assistant to work as part of our friendly Catering team. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Catering Manager and/or Cook to assist with the smooth running of the kitchen. Some experience of working in a similar environment would be useful although training will be given. The school produces approximately 120 meals per lunchtime.

We believe that school food is part of our whole school ethos and you would be working as part of a committed school team.
