ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Please rise for the flag salute, ready, begin.

*Black Lights and Basketball dance is coming on January 8th. The dance will begin immediately following the varsity basketball game, so come out to watch the tigers, then join us for a little dance. Tickets are $5 with an ASB sticker and $10 without for the first 200 tickets sold. We have sold 136 tickets so far, and the prices will go up after the first 200. The basketball game will begin at 6:30 with the dance beginning around 8:30 and continuing for two hours. *Seniors! If you ordered a Senior T-shirt or Hoodie, they are available for pick up at the finance window. Please stop by to pick up your Senior T-shirts and Hoodies today.

* Seniors! Financial Aid Night will be on Wednesday, Dec. 9th at 6: 30 pm. Also, Tiger University on the Common App on Monday, Dec. 7 from 7:30-8:15 am for those seniors applying to private universities.

* Are you interested in a health-related career? Then come to the College and Career Center on Monday, December 7 during single lunch to learn about nursing, veterinary technology, and occupational therapy at Stanbridge College in Irvine, CA.

*The Holocaust Art and Writing Contest is open to all students on campus. Entries must be art, film, poetry, or essay. The theme for this year is “Telling it Forward: Making Memory Matter.” If you are interested please talk to Mrs. Leon in Room 808 to receive more information and sign up.

*Ping Pong Club will meet in the Cafeteria tomorrow.

*Students for Life--VHS will have our regular, monthly meeting this Friday, Dec. 4, in room # 604, both lunches. We will discuss our special presentation on Friday, Dec. 11, and what we want to eat. Also, don't forget, we have yearbook pictures taken tomorrow, Dec. 3, at break in room # 403.

*FCA Leadership meets tomorrow, both lunches, in room # 604. Come by and pick up the leadership study material if you missed last week. Also, don't forget, FCA yearbook pictures tomorrow, at break, in room # 403, Ms. Walker's room.

*VHS RACE Club T-shirts are here! If you ordered a T-shirt, come get it before school, at break, at lunch, or after school in Ms Filowitz's classroom - Room 501. Wear your RACE shirts to school on Friday for our club picture for the yearbook.

*TIGER CHALLENGE Work smart! How long does it take you to complete your tasks? It may be because you need to take a step back and think before you work. Having a well thought out plan is the key to being more successful and can even make your tasks easier.
