JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title Technical Administrator Location Kinnerton York Reporting to Site Technical & Process Control Manager Direct Subordinates None Key Contacts Operations, Supply Chain, NPD, Technical, Sales

KPI’s/Objectives  Accurate, up to date specification information available to factory floor  Up to date Quality Attribute Sheets and Photographs available.  Up to date technical notice board information  Accurate and timely completion of KPI reports  Up to date Document Control System  Effective administration of NCN system  Management of daily quality assessment panel

Role Definition  To coordinate and manage the technical administration duties of the York site Technical team.  Development, issue and maintenance of work books with specification information to the factory floor  Issue and maintenance of quality attribute sheets and photographs to factory floor  Collate and publish Technical KPI data on a daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc basis  Coordination and management of daily quality assessment panel  Analysis, trending and reporting of daily quality assessment panel information  Maintenance of technical information for site notice boards  Administration of site NCN system  Administrative support for HACCP team  Completion of retailer KPI reports  Collation of technical information prior to and during audits, complaint and incident investigations.  Participation in site internal audit team  Administration of site customer complaint information in conjunction with Central Consumer Services Controller  Technical project work as deemed appropriate by Technical & Process Control Manager  Provision of adhoc technical data as required by the Business and Customers  Covering department absence as required

ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS  5 GSCE Grade C or above  Science A Level including science  Food Science/Technology qualification EXPERIENCE  Demonstrable administrative  Technical administrative experience within Food Business. experience within a food  Understanding of quality manufacturing business. assurance systems and procedures SKILLS  Numerate and literate  Food processing  Computer Literate – good working knowledge/skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office  Advanced Microsoft excel (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills. PERSONAL  Excellent communicator at all  Outgoing individual. ATTRIBUTES levels  Good team worker but able to work alone and unsupervised.  Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads at short notice  Proactive – looks to solve problems before they occur  Shows initiative and uses a common sense approach to resolving issues.  Punctual, reliable and flexible.  Pays attention to detail.
