Reminder to the cast of Into the Woods: Music rehearsal today at 4:15 in the choir room.
All seniors should report to the Theater during advisory this week for an important meeting. Please check in with your advisory teacher and quickly report to the Theater.
Juniors, Seniors, and their families are invited to attend Wasilla High Junior/Senior Night, Thursday September 22nd from 6-8pm in the WHS Commons. This will be a fantastic evening for students and families to receive valuable post- graduation planning information from our guidance counselors. You will also have the opportunity meet with colleges, technical training programs, armed forces, and businesses. We look forward to seeing you there!
Seniors! Vote for superlatives during both lunches. (announce all week)
Junior class – Do you want to be a class officer? If so, pick-up an application packet from Ms. Dreyer, room 142. They will be due Monday, September 26th. Elections will be held Wednesday, September 28th during lunch.
There will be a Basketball Fund Raising Meeting for boys and girls interested in playing on Wednesday September 21st at 7 PM in the commons. Please attend if interested
Wrestlers – you must have your iPlay complete, a current physical and impact testing before you can participate. (Continue to announce up to the start of wrestling season)
Juniors and Seniors are invited to meet with the University of Northern Colorado on Thursday October 13th during 3rd period. Please stop by the counseling office to sign up and get a pass for the meeting. Fall Special! Please go to the WHS website http://matsuk12.us/whs and check out the important links. Seniors. Complete the Senior Survey at the Wasilla High School website. The survey is available now through October 14. (announce Mondays, Wednesday s & Fridays through 10/14) Reserve your 2016-2017 WHS Chieftain now. Until October 1 you can get free icons with any personalized yearbook. Get your yearbook for $80.00 and four icons for free @jostens.com. (announce Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays through 9/30) Senior pictures are due to Ms. Showman by Friday, November 18. If you need a Chieftain Staff member to take your photo contact Ms. Showman in room 218. (announce Tuesdays and Thursdays through 11/18) Sign up now for the 2017 MSSC Ski & Snowboard Program for students from 10- 18 years of age. Two schedules to choose from.
