CSA Recommendations/Action Items

*1. Motion to approve the 2016-2017 Frelinghuysen Township School calendar.

^2. Motion to extend 2016-2017 employment contract to Rita Jones, School Business Administrator in the amount of $ 91,984. (Two months’ pay in the amount of $15,330.66.)

^3. Motion to extend 2016-2017 employment contract to Susan Polizzo, café aide in the amount of $ 6,885. ($12.75 @ hr. @ 3 hours a day @ 180 days.)

^4. Motion to extend 2016-2017 non tenured employment contract to Amanda Caravito, classroom teacher in the amount of $ 51,837.00 MA, Step 1.

^5. Motion to extend 2016-2017 employment contract to Barry Saide, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction in the amount of $ 75,000. ^6. Motion to extend 2016-2017 non tenured employment contract to Natalie O’Neil, Lead Science and Technology Coordinator in the amount of $ 66,362, MA +30, Step 12.

^7. Motion to extend 2016-2017 employment contract to Karin Laraway, Interim School Business Administrator at a rate of $450 @ day, three days a week for ten months.

Authorizations: a) The CSA and Board Secretary/SBA to implement the 2016-2017 budget and chart of accounts pursuant with local and state policies and regulations b) The Board Secretary/SBA to award contracts up to the bid threshold @ $26,000 and set quote threshold @ $3,900 c) The Board Secretary/SBA to procure good and services through State agencies (State contracts) d) CSA and Board Secretary/SBA to transfer funds within the line item accounts prior to Board meetings e) Travel limitations of $1000 to school staff and board members related to and within the scope of their current responsibilities ^11. Establish Fees, Rates & Dollar Amounts: a) Photocopying Fee Schedule-letter size papers-$0.05 per page; legal size pages $0.07 per page, other material (DC, DVD, etc.) actual cost of materials b) 2016-2017 Tuition Rates-Pre K half day $275 @ month and full day $400 @ month Kindergarten $14,216; 1-5 Grades $ 16,709 & 6th Grade $12,709 c) Pay Rate Schedule for Employees: Aide Substitute $75 @ day, Custodian Substitute $15.50 per hour, Nurse Substitute $100 @ day, Secretary Substitute $80 @ day and Teacher Substitute $80 @ day & $85 @ day after 10 consecutive days d) Petty cash fund in the amount of #200.00 with a single expenditure shall not exceed $60.00 and the School Business Administrator will be accountable for replenishing

^3. Accept, certify and file the treasurer’s and board secretary’s financial reports For April 2016 and note that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s Financial obligations and that no major account has been over-expended in Accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:23A:16.10.
