PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE CENTER FOR THERAPEUTIC SERVICES AND PSYCHODIAGNOSTICS — McHenry, IL Owner and Psychotherapist, 2011 – Present Established and developed a psychotherapeutic practice, driving expansion to 9 clinical staff members and 3 office managers. PRACTICUM EXPERIENCE LAKEVIEW SPECIALTY HOSPITAL AND REHABILITATION — Waterford, WI Internship, 2008 – 2009 Dr. Tim Wiedel, PHD, and Dr. Cindy Sorensen, Psy.D Provided effective individual, family, and group therapy for clients suffering from traumatic brain injury, including children, adolescents, and adults. Collaborated with a team including doctors, caseworkers, teachers, behavior analysts, and staff members to implement exceptional standards of treatment and care. Administered neuropsychological, academic, personality, cognitive, and achievement assessments, conducting interpretation and writing evaluations. Managed crisis intervention for suicidal and homicide clients. Handled hospital rotation for acute brain injury clients, applying a focus on assessment, treatment planning, discharge coordination, and functional assessment.
