This talk will focus on the opportunities and challenges in using satellite data for health exposure assessment and understanding air pollution. For over 10 years, satellites have been used to characterize spatial and temporal patterns in air quality on a global basis, and planned programs over the coming few years will greatly expand satellite capability.
