Upcoming Events & Deadlines 1. Next meeting is April 22nd, last meeting of the semester Action Items for Assembly Members 1. Take GSO leaders (or potentials) out to lunch. See Sample “Business meals form” and “RFF.”

2. New Members:

a. Complete Assembly Member 30-day onboarding checklist before the next meeting & review all of the supporting packet materials.

b. USG Legislative Liaisons - Signup to liaise for GPSA in one USG Tempe Senate Meeting (Tuesdays, 6:30PM in MU)

c. Join Assembly Committees

10. Assembly Operations:

a. Finalize GSO Funding Policies and Procedures, and make appropriate updates to website, including language on the main page about competitive bids.

b. Consolidate language in GSO Funding Application, available online here.

c. Fall 2015 funding report, summary of funds used, awarded, & left; Assembly Member sponsorships, assembly member usage of the $2,000 for GSO engagement.

11. Government Operations:

a. Update the soft copies of the Constitution, Bylaws, and Supreme Court Rules to be consistently formatted for clarity and search ability. And create a table with key dates.

b. Resolve GPSA – Supreme Court outstanding items: Rules and Procedures Complaint Process, Rules and Procedures Answer Process

c. Update the Funding section of the GPSA Bylaws in collaboration with Assembly Operations and the GSO Funding Policies and Procedures.

d. Review Constitution and Bylaws for any discrepancies and resolve, e.g.

d.i. Director positions

d.ii. Clarify the language in governing documents regarding “Presidents” and “Vice Presidents” such that it’s not conflated with Directors in the “Executive Committee”

d.iii. Propose an update to the “order of business” for the Assembly Meetings in the Bylaws

d.iv. Update all references to ASASU Constitution to GPSA Constitution

e. Investigate Assembly member engagement in proposing bills and resolutions for changes in

e.i. GPSA policies (e.g. policy documents for review criteria, deadlines, and $ amounts)
