Writing by Artistic Amelia Nouns in the Park The lamppost reflected the luscious light. The directing sign showed us where to go. The table stood still as a soldier. The pathway twisted through the grass.

Nouns- Activated and Extended Sally Her stylish glasses reflect the sunlight. Underneath Sally’s glasses her glistening eyes sparkle. Her beaming smile lights up the room. The short hair on top of her head shines in the sun.

Listing Sentence I leaped, sprinted, snatched, everything.

Bare Bones I got dressed. I was driven. I played hard. I had a drink. Back on court. Rode home. Flopped on couch.

Playing Hard I pulled on my maroon and white skirt and top. I squeezed on my white sneakers and tightened the velcro. I hopped like a frog into the car, strapped on my seatbelt and looked out the window. I could see all shades of green whizzing by. I could also see dozens of cars going past. The netball team gathered and we stretched. We ran on court and took our positions. The whistle blew. I ran up the line but I had to stop. “Over here,” I yelled. I leaped, sprinted, snatched, everything. I came off court and had a drink. We drove home. I got through the door and flopped on the couch. “Phew!” I whispered. Character Description Narelle Narelle is as kind as anything. She has the exact interests as me.

Narelle’s beautiful blue green eyes sparkle like the ocean. Her hair looks like a spiked bundle of colours. The colourful clothes she wears suit her perfectly. The necklace that hangs around her neck matches her earrings. She seems shorter than others but is still taller than me. She is tidy and neat. She looks nice. Narelle smells like perfume.

Narelle is always happy no matter what. She is always smiling. She is never alone; someone is always there. She either likes to read or play “Spite and Malice.” She loves art and baking.

Narelle makes me happy even when she isn’t beside me. She helps me with anything I need. She is a big part of my life. She is kind, but when she is annoyed she is grumpy. I don’t know what I would do without her.
